You had attention, and persistence

You had zeal, and you had fire.

You had motion into action.

You had will and great desire.

But now you have only sleeping.

Delay, Decay and drowse.

Now you wait to say you are waiting,

and sleep through all the hours.

Wake up my dear beloved.

Wake up and see me now.

I have attention and persistence,

I have will and great desire.

Please don’t wait till these mean nothing.

Don’t even wait another hour.
