Anger

A Poem

I looked in your eyes didn’t realize they were filled with lies,

Do you even know who we are?

We are not dolls we’re not play things

Is that what you thought we were?

The puppets of an alcoholic blue fairy

Fairy?

More like a demon

Smiles laced with liquor

You couldn’t make me any sicker

Just the thought of you springs rage

Deep in my soul

But you’re just a stubborn asshole

Cannot even say sorry or take fault for what you did

You’re a pathetic excuse for a human being

Because nothing is your problem

Perfect as a pile of shit covered in glitter

Either way you’re just litter

I’ll reject you any chance that I get

Do you feel sorry, Mom, do you feel sorry yet?

I hope this makes you stay up at night,

To worry and fret —

Neither of us ever want to be you

Who would — except a fictional kid, the one you always wanted

Well, let me tell you something HE DOESN’T EXIST

And the ones who do exist, resist everything about you

Does that even bother you?

That we don’t feel sorry for you, that we don’t want to relate

I won’t apologize 'cause I don’t feel bad

You got where you are on your own accord

I hope this makes you mad

And you simmer with rage like I do

Do you want to know why?

It’s all because of you —
