And God Said

And God said, "Let there be light,"

And darkness fled, dispelled by might.

The universe sprang forth in song,

Creation's symphony played strong.

And God said, "Let the waters teem

With life abundant, like a dream."

From depths below to skies above,

His creatures praised His boundless love.

And God said, "Let the earth bring forth

All manner of plants, south and north."

From tiny seed to towering tree,

His beauty bloomed for all to see.

And God said, "Let us make man

In our own image, with a plan."

So humankind was formed that day,

To love and serve, to work and play.

And God said, "I am with you still,

Through every trial, every thrill."

His voice speaks peace within our hearts,

Guiding us through life's many parts.

So let us listen to His voice,

Rejoice in Him, our hearts rejoice.

For God is good, and God is true,

And He will see us safely through.
