An Unstoppable Phoenix
A poem that entices one to not merely rise but thrive.
A nation under many Gods.
Beginning to see each and every fraud.
Coming together becoming a concept too odd.
Doing without forethought; only enough for one self.
Existing on fumes yet still hustling for wealth.
Forget not that there are enemies who are masters of stealth.
Going too fast in this realm is not good for your health.
Habitual creatures we are; too many solely in it for gain.
Instinct kicking in allowing some of us to remain.
Just knowing the rules won't get you a head in this game.
Knowledge is power, the poor cannot be blamed.
Love is sacred but so often we'll say it in vain.
Mindful decisions will get you far
Put off nothing and remember who you are.
Quilt these days of life with fire
Reflect on yourself and remove all the liars.
Seeking truth is how to make time fly.
This society is bold and full of pride.
Uttering rumors with few facts.
Violence not an answer but an immature act.
We tend to blame others for those things that we think we lack.
X-rays don't tell you when your heart gets attacked.
Young yet wiser we get, no longer afraid of talking back.
Zen is the new goal as we create new pacts.
