An Undivided Self

Psychological precision, whimsy, and the courage to carry both

I can be psychologically precise and tender. I can be whimsical and deeply serious. I don’t disappear into my pain to be believed. I’ve lived this split internally for a long time. My inner world is deep, complex, analytical, vigilant. My outward expression is imaginative, playful, gentle, warm. I learned early that showing my depth alone felt too heavy for people, and showing my whimsy alone made them underestimate me. So now I carry both—honestly. People prefer what’s easy to define. One tone. One lane. One story. But I want color and glitter. I want the ability to express my trauma. I’m too psychological for the fluff, and too surreal—too artistic—for what’s considered serious. So I exist in the in-between— not diluted, not confused, but whole. ☾⋆。°✩🦇✩°。⋆☽
