An Ode to Women

Satire on Stereotypes

By Abigail Sire Published 5 years ago • 1 min read

An ode to women -

Dear God how do you balance

The life between radical feminism and the manosphere...

Cigarette ash – lit from a match strike from a

Strip club with the silhouette

OF the busty woman

That is an object

And most likely doesn’t exist -

Victorian pin ups -

The snapshot of what it was -

After the inevitable

Squeezing out of

The womb

That gives a mother

Her second purpose -

Baby poster in the basement -

With an enormous

Hoarder-like pile of dirty laundry -

Back to her 1rst purpose -

Of perfect, smiling housewife-

Emblazoned with a gold

Engraved medallion

To know -

‘SEX’ - in case you hadn’t

Gotten that figured

Out

Already.
