My gorgeous sun, you inspire me to write

I love the way you shine, sizzle and roar

Invading my mind day and through the night

Always dreaming of having a bit more

Let me compare you to the unreal sky

You are so much more fierce, fantastic, wild

Mild drought dries the small picnics of July

And summertime has the innocent child
