Make love grow not hared. No war please
An Ode to Love Amidst War
O love, within the heart of men,
deep fears and fiery passions—
A struggle against all that threatens.
A cry for connection tangled in conflict.
When you fade or feel in jeopardy,
The heart can turn to shadow,
Taking us to battle for stupid pride.
beneath the chaos lies a yearning,
For peace, for understanding,
A reminder that true strength
Is found not in war, but in love.
O love, within the heart of men,
You rise from loss and longing,
A desperate plea for unity,
through the tragedy and chaos.
When you are endangered,
The heart knows darkness,
Turning loyalty into weapons,
And pride into battlegrounds.
Yet deep within the turmoil,
Your whisper of longing sleeps,
For peace and understanding,
A hope we often bury deep.
If only we could see
That true power lies in you,
Not in battles fought,
But in the tender embrace of trust
That unites us all.
