Oh, tiny comma, mark so slight,

Yet crucial to language's might.

You pause a sentence, give it breath,

Or link clauses with subtle finesse.

You separate items in a list,

And clarify what we insist.

You help us speak with rhythm and flow,

And make our written words glow.

With you, we avoid ambiguity,

And bring clarity to the mundanity.

You're often overlooked and ignored,

But without you, language would be flawed.

So here's an ode to you, dear comma,

We appreciate your unassuming drama.

You may be small, but you're mighty,

And we couldn't write without you nightly.
