An insecure life

Beyond Time and Behind Stars

By Sabayo MatikuPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

To things that change:

From whence did the impetus arise?

And for what reason since?

To the small and mighty,

Standing on the shoulders of giants

Who have stamped and skipped their ways

To the peaks of mountains

Cloaked in Sovereignty.

Where does the spring of water go

How long have those cramped muscles and bones

And supple minds endured,

To walk among the stars and whisper

Between planned anomalies of space and time?

No, I don’t desire answers in speech,

So save your lips the effort,

‘Lingo’ so crude as to unknowingly lie

And trap reality in a snow globe —

ANSWER ME in your conviction and action.

Speak to me only of alignment and leave the rest

As bedtime stories.

Show me the nothingness of divinity

And leave the rest to me.
