Appreciate the small things

If I gave you an hour in my favorite memory

It would start with the calmest breeze

One that gently picks you up and places you where you want to be

Where you would be surrounded by your favorite people and stars…

Stars that you could see for miles

All gently placed in perfect position by the calmest breeze

If I gave you an hour in my favorite memory

It would start with a great wave

That carries everything in its path

Substituting the old with the new

Always letting space for the old to return

If I gave you an hour in my favorite memory

It would start with a deep green forest

That collapses inwards, inviting you to search for secrets

If I gave you an hour in my favorite memory

It would start with mountains as far as eyes can see

Creating a basin

Where peace can lay

If I gave you an hour in my favorite memory

It would start with a log cabin at the top of the hill

With a beautiful view

Where all your problems vanish

If I gave you an hour in my favorite memory

It would start surrounded by love
