Freckles strewn across

pale skin, so light she would float,

swept up by the jeers...

---

Watered by her tears:

Umber iris flecked pine green.

She grew self-conscious...

---

Flaming hair raucous.

Abnormal abilities.

Unquenched solitude...

---

But, a wave gave birth

to a blue feathered Phoenix

- Her lost aqua piece.
