Amor Fati Will Make Life Easier
Embrace your life situations

While watching TED Talks,
I came across the concept of amor fati.
It's a Latin concept
which means loving one’s own destiny.
It is, in a way,
a form of gratitude.
In Japanese too,
there is a similar idea called uketamo.
The message is,
to try to live with
acceptance of destiny,
embracing the life situations,
good or bad,
not complaining, not comparing.
To give an example,
you wanted to eat banana,
but got an apple instead,
enjoy the latter.
It will taste different,
but will nourish you too.
This mindset makes living,
much easier,
eases off the stress.
Note: Had you heard about amor fati?
