Am sorry am a people pleaser

In this world full of evil, where shall my sympathy rest?

In a world of smiles, her heart does dwell,

A people pleaser, her story I shall tell.

With every breath, she craves their praise,

But her own dreams, in shadows, they haze.

Like a chameleon, she bends and adapts,

In fear of rejection, her spirit collapses.

Always pleasing, never true to her soul,

Her desires silenced, lost in the role.

A tapestry of masks, she weaves with care,

Hiding her tears, the burdens she bears.

Every word she utters, a carefully crafted lie,

To keep the peace, her true self must die.

Her worth measured by others' contentment,

Yet her own happiness remains an absentment.

In their eyes, she shines like a radiant sun,

But inside, her heart longs to be undone.

Bound by expectations, she treads a lonely path,

Her own needs forgotten in the aftermath.

She yearns for validation, an elusive embrace,

But love, she finds, is a fleeting chase.

Oh, the sad life of a people pleaser she leads,

Her identity buried in unmet needs.

In the quest for approval, she loses her way,

And her soul's whispers fade, day by day.

But within her sorrow, a glimmer may arise,

A flicker of courage, a longing to redisguise.

For beneath her masks, a strength yet remains,

To break free from the chains, to release her pains.

May she find solace in her own embrace,

To reclaim her dreams, with grace and space.

No longer defined by others' decree,

A people pleaser no more, but truly, she'll be free.
