oh how i wish my words were as eloquent as yours
bring me back down to earth
i wish i felt that my words were eloquent
i wish my worth meant i am worthy
of love and
of praise
of all that is true
i wish time was not excruciating
that life was not this facade
who wants to belong to these silly
meaningless
constructs
all faith in humanity is dwindling darling
and i am just here along for the ride
analyzing all that has ever happened
four million times over
babbling
feigning
searching
for all my wishes to come true
wishing is for silly little playthings
coloring scribble murals up and down your halls
and walls
walls all around us
wish i may
wish i might
anything you wish for darling
she will make come true tonight
