I.

Slammed!

No matter how I try

To avoid the slings of arrows

The slice of the sword

Or the strike of the club.

II.

Even my armor

Can’t slight the blows

Even my shield

Can’t slight the blows.

III.

Damn!

The wounds

Damn!

The pain.

IV.

Losing is the worst.

The Defeat

is the hardest

to swallow.

V.

…..To accept.
