Alone Engineer

A life of Engineer

By Mohammed KaamilPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

An engineer, alone and lost in thought,

Amidst the gears and cogs he's brought,

A mind full of equations and plans,

A heart full of hope for his hands.

He works through the night and the day,

His designs for the future to pave,

A solitary figure, focused and driven,

His work, his passion, his very own vision.

He toils in his lab, in silence and peace,

His creations, his children, they never cease,

To amaze and astound, to innovate and excel,

His work, his legacy, his very own hell.

For in his quest for progress and might,

He's sacrificed his own personal light,

His friends and his family, his love and his life,

For the sake of his work and the future, his wife.

But in the end, as he looks back in time,

He'll see that his work, it was worth the climb,

For the world is a better place, thanks to his hand,

And the engineer, alone, he'll finally understand.
