Daisies and dancing in parking lots
Sno cones and skin tones that go golden and dark
Ribbons and pigeons tracking my food
Aunts, uncles and cousins keeping me in a good mood
Chicago Cubs, carnivals and cream protecting from rays
Tire swings over memory lakes on hot days
Ice cream and Icies cooling me down
Oranges and melons I snack on around town
Not my fault I can’t focus, it’s almost summer
