All the World Laughs

All the world laughs at one who truly shows their heart

For jealously holds neither rhyme nor reason

It is all we know, all we think

But the world is far from understanding

On all matters of this sort

So thank the lord that we see it clear

For it holds so much they will never see

For they don’t know

They see not the love shared

Or the reason for which we care

They do not see as we do

For they do not know

They look at us as if we are crazy

Beyond out of our minds

For they can not see

Cannot know

All that we do

All that is there

The reason we care

And the secrets we share

So let them laugh loud as they can

Slaves to heartless and isolated thinking we no longer are

For we do see and know all this

And above all this is the greatest gift
