All the Light We Refuse To See
If it’s meant for you, it will make you glow.
Seeing the world through ears
The glittering soul demerged
Humans plodded unmoved and biased
Shattering those heart pieces
Which arose that day.
The hunger for malice raging louder
The door banging on the hell’s Hodor
The heir of clouds stopped shattering light
To the faces of those who are elegant.
Earth’s light-filled dim
The Nur of the time propelled its right
The power omnipotent than the light
The light of the sun and moon as a whole.
Through the window between heart and face
The outer layer of powder puffs risks its origin
It's all in the eyes and the face
It's all in the eyes and the face.
The complexion deteriorates the within
The unbelievers suffering in an endless loop
Oh, Angel! Here color is of no use
what is wanted is a heart full of love and pain and sighs.
We have a lot to say
To say, what does kindness gift us?
Only if we knew the gift is in…
our face dials; the light we refuse to see.
Don't struggle with knots
So your mind won't judge hard
Let all be you kin
But different in subtle looks.
Explanation:
This poem is about the concept of “light” or “Nur.” In eastern philosophy, it’s believed that the mortals who are truthful in their actions have an external force backing their deeds.
In obedience, all those who are generous enough have a special light on their face. This light is a grant from mankind that you cannot acquire from either makeup fudge or silicones.
All of your life, if you've failed to recognize the true face of everyone— know it’s a thin line of beauty resting on each’s face. A light that hides all the blemishes of the wrong.
Perhaps, one slightest notice can change your whole life. Be mindful. Make use of your eyes to see the truth. Always!
