Why does a head hurt
Why does a stomach ache
Why does a newborn cry when it hasn't ate
Why can't you just be you
Why can't we just be free
Why can't we get along and get out these streets
Why can't we feel alive
Why can't we all survive
Why can't we help each other
Why can't we clean the streets
Why can't we be like family so our families can eat
Why can't we put down the guns
And clear out the jails
Why can't we act like people
And give each other some help
All I see is we can't, but no one who can so just open up your minds and let’s show them me we can

CHAPTER 15 I pulled up in front of Sandy’s a little early, so I texted Becca again and left a message for Sharon, hoping she had a good day and I’d see her tomorrow. Two cars pulled into Sandy’s driveway. I don’t know why I was surprised to see another man with her. We’d been apart for two years and I certainly didn’t waste any time getting back on the horse.
