All Dreams Are Blue

And Time Flies On In Circle

I always knew something was fondamentally wrong with me

I remember so clearly, that one day back then, under the sun

The whole bright cloudless day, for me, for walking.

And walking, at this place I found, where no one went

The gravel road that went on for miles and miles, and standing there

I looked behind me, to the blue void and the gray line,

the ever present greeneries and the humming of the wind

***

''And I turned to the other side... I couldn't tell the difference.''

***

The only true, certain thing back then was the sun, weighing me down.

The sun right above me, as I stood there in the center of existence

A shifting stance, uncertainty perhaps, in a trance, the semblance of a care

A brief interlude of lucidity, my mind blank, struggling, muddling

***

Until as if prompted by time itself, a scare, a stranger, approaching

This unknown princess, a silouhette over one horizon, growing.

So exposed and out of place I felt, I couldn't help myself

I sat down on the grass, looking up at the birds swimming

And she passed me by, this undoubtable presence, this phenomena,

this sunglasses wearing, this summer dress in the wind, and her swift steps.

How I envied her carelessness, her lightness, her legerity,

so free

***

And getting back up I noticed that the sun was unwavering.

Growing, shifting, desecrating her memory, and I broke down

What if, there is only this blue dream? This exact moment in time.

And all past and future is mere lies, fabrications and fantasy?

All there ever is, is. Myself, walking down an infinite road

The same before and beyond, hued in blue, certainly true,

for all Dreams are blue.
