all are equal

what is equal

By Peter RosePublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

The politician stood and declared, all men are equal,

A lady of a certain age, called out-equally stupid.

A rich man sent a servant to demand a withdrawal

A poor woman demanded a militant sequel

The politician stood and declared all men are equal

A general of the army agreed, they all die lupid

An admiral of the navy disagreed saying all just fall

A wing commander claimed drones beat all

The politician stood and declared, all men are equal,

Death stood to one side and watched banners unfurl

Life waited hoping for sanity to breakout

Humanity did its usual thing, fighting over meaning equal

The intellectual declared nothing has meaning

The worker asked for food not words

The darkness covered all -equality achieved.
