Alien Grey

Like the sky on this day

They don’t like me because I don’t fit in. Because they want a mirror and I’m not like them.

They don’t understand that I am an alien grey. And, no matter what it looks like, I can never be what they say.

I’m not even from here. So, how can I ever understand - what it is to be this or that. Nah. I am my own man.

Yet, I want to have an effect like the sun on this crazy, blue rock. Only place I know where eight billion beings wait to see what you’ve got.

So, I’m an alien grey, but I won’t leave. Inside me is something different, just gotta’ make them believe.
