Aged Homeless Spirit — Undaunted

Love

Cracked

Stone step-loose with cracking face

she watched clouds, trying to defend her imagination

they quickly found grey and white in disguise

a portrait extended from the flesh

bleeding waterfalls eased from a past caress

Cardboard softens before the nights rage

doorways offer only forgotten stays

layers of loose forgiven sin

flutter as flags keeping soul within

tight into the womb she crawls

beneath the ground safe amongst earth and bone

sleepless sleep

badges run in confused stagger

years nail lovers upon hidden negative

an end would bring defeat

so she curls tighter into the womb

into the corner of youth she slides

eyesight

vision

riding the noble horse

feeding on the table, spat with lies

crepe party hats

spiral in shell

soft sand sticking between footprints lost

the cardboard collapses

morning invades

throwing time against the stone wall

i belong in whisper the words she spreads

i belong in whisper

the words she spread
