Aftermath

A Poem

lonely lady

So now you want love

Missing the kisses and hugs

But were you not thinking of the aftermath when you pushed me in the love pit you dug?

Were you not thinking of the times you will require that which only I can cause?

I trusted you with all of me

But you made me nothing more than a honey bee

Squashed to the dirt after you got that which you needed

and I am left on the floor to die from a love attack, defeated

I will cry no more

For I have cried long enough

That I as well now know the difference between when to do and when to stop

I will therefore put you in a fog of emotions

I will stay in between

I will play you as the violinist does to the royal Queen

I will not let you on

That I am with you no more

I will love you back till I know that you cannot stand alone

and will then; create in you, a bigger hole

Than that which you caused me

I will then leave you in the aftermath of that which you did to me.
