The memories will live on

The end is the beginning that we never want to hear

The end is the conclusion and one in which we need to understand

The end is something that we never wish to consider

Why does it need to end?

Why do we need to start again?

Why can we not stay put?

Why can we not organise ourselves around the same day?

The end is terrifying whilst the start is exhausting. All that preparation and fear rolled up into one single moment

A journey that begins and ends to make room for the next

A journey that helps you to stop and think in a fractured world

A journey for which none of us returns but all of us must take in order to hand over to those who are next

We are not able to live forever but the memories do. Changed, shifted and spread across lives that are as short as they are long

The parade is over but the memories live on.
