Admirals of the Skies

Poem

By Paul CrockerPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

They are the admirals of the skies.

See how triumphantly it flies.

While patrolling coasts.

They proudly boast a presence which you can't deny.

Though some may be a pest.

They always look their best.

Rummaging through dirty bins.

They always win when no stain adorns their breast.

They like a chip or ice cream cone.

They never leave you alone.

Then they hear a loud sound.

They are sky bound, they have flown.
