This is a poem about struggling to say "NO!"

I wouldn't cut my wrists

Or stick coke up my nose

I wouldn't chase the dragon

In shoes with pointy toes

I never wear tight jeans

With digging in me seams

I wouldn't suck on crack

Or enjoy 'roomy dreams

But when it comes to sugar

I just can't get enough

Sod my teeth and waistline

Diabetes risk? That's tough

I know the sweet stuff's poison

It hurts my joints and bones

Oh but sticky puddings

And fluffy ice-cream cones

I have to kick my habit

It makes me fat and ill

It's ruining my body

I'll stop next week, I will
