The Truth

By LJ MuirPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

I depend on her to hold me when I feel down

She loves to pull me close in her embrace

She makes me feel the warmth of a thousand suns

Like everything will be okay

But like an enemy she betrays me

She turns her back and feeds my demons

She drives me up the wall but

I'm addicted

She's absolutely repulsive

She makes me nauseous

Why am I so dependent on her?

But after a series of emotions, she disappears

Now I'm alone with my thoughts

Until I find her again in a handle on the shelf.
