Adam, O Adam
Your reputation exceeds you
Your seed has spread across the Earth
Tell me what it is like to be a man
O infamous Adam
Your lust is seen in my sister's eyes
Your lack of accountability reflected in my brother
The top of the food chain
Brought to your knees by an object with no teeth
No claws
No bark, no roar
Just seeds to be planted in a greedy heart
Seeds to be watered
Seeds to take root
Adam, O Adam
Would you have written your story this way?
What do you see when you look at your sequels?
It's a bestseller, your story
Your name is immortalized
Though your body is dust
Adam, O Adam
You've reaped what you've sown
And all the Earth continues to reap what you've sown
