A Poem

It is so difficult to recover from something that is not tangible

Every minute it will slip through your fingers and leave you speechless because you can hold on to nothing more than a memory

How odd it is to feel so deeply that your bones begin to ache and your heart seemingly beats slower

A wave will wash over your body and leave you wondering where it went wrong

As the tide rolls back, you will remember you are paying the consequences of the choices you made

Whether it was wrong

Whether it was right

Without reassurance how can you ever be sure
