Accidental Murder
Nobody woke with dark intentions
Nobody planned what came to be
The day began in ordinary clothes
And ended differently
Words became a sharpened weapon
Anger filled the room too fast
One small movement changed forever
Turning present into past
Silence stood where shouting ended
Hands forgot what they had done
Time slowed down around the moment
Yet refused to come undone
Sirens never fix a memory
Neither do regret or tears
Some mistakes do not grow smaller
Even after passing years
People search for someone evil
To make the story easier told
Yet tragedy can wear a human face
That once held kindness in its hold
Every mirror keeps returning
Every night repeats the scene
Not because the heart is cruel
Because it remembers what has been
And somewhere under endless thinking
One truth remains all through the years—
some endings happen in a second
and live forever afterwardsAccidental Murder
