About a Stick of Dynamite

How do you drive

By Mark Stigers Published 4 months ago • 1 min read

Do I trust you with dynamite

Oh I think not today

Yet when I drive a car

You pass by the other way

If two cars crash head on at 65

a stick of dynamite is released

I trust that you don’t want to die

Screw up and make me deceased

Are you driving drunk

Have you been getting stoned

Have you been up for days

Will I make it home

Do you drive in a race

And the slow cars do you zoom by

Are you mad as hell

And hate the other guy

Are you tired

Do you need a break

Does your car need repair

Could someone life be at sake

Are you insured

Can you read the sign

Is your car registered

Are you running from a crime

Driving is an act of trust

Of souls you’ll never know

We pass by each other ever day

It’s the law of the road
