Lazily, the darkness lilts
Stretching and warping
How long have we been here?
Raisin hues
Punctuate the pillows beneath our eyes
Rolling and folding
Our bodies cling to the serenity
Stillness softly holds us,
Assiduously as we labour.
Amethyst shards refracting in the sky
Pierce through the mulberry veil,
We fall gracefully
Timeless and shapeless
Effectuating antiquated practices.
Lavender peaks stir,
Tucked behind the cloudiness of life.
We clamber into the shell of a thousand unfinished yesterday’s,
Using old smiles for new ways.
Bending and pleating
Worries dressed in duty... but... we live
