Restoration and Regeneration

Absolution to be earned,

Before Earth within itself interred,

Corrupted by horde undeterred,

Dilution offers no viable solution,

Environment obscured by pollution,

Feathers fall, never rise again,

Gaily did the fall of Rome begin,

Heath and hearth refurbished need,

Intonation doth not do the deed,

Journey into the dead of night,

Keeping eyes on stars shining bright,

Lights of sky oft not be seen,

Megawatt bulbs flood the scene,

Notwithstanding words of science,

Ogre plugs another appliance,

Penetrating atmosphere,

Quantities untold released from here,

Restless mind with wrinkled brow,

Screams take action, it must be now,

Transformation of lifestyle choices,

Utilization of intelligent voices,

Venerate the minimalist vow,

Wisdom heard and heeded now,

Xylem flows with life anew,

Yonder wilds beneath sky again blue,

Zenith reached, restored is the bloom.
