Version 1 of Catastrophic 8

By Bixi HernandezPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

What if I'm choking on letters, words, and sentences

And all the things I'll never be able to tell you?

All my writing, titles, and art is encrypted with messages just for you

I'm dying to tell you this secret

Wish I could cry in your arms about it

You wouldn't believe it I promise

I'm a long ways from home

Just to try to get to you

But I won't go any further

I'll just let myself fade into the mist that evaporates into the empty vastness deep within my soul

I'll close my eyes

Take a breath

And head back home
