I know that you are stressed, and that today is going to be really hard,

But,

Do you have to blame yourself for everything that goes wrong?

Seriously, woman!

You're doing fine;

You've got to say no sometimes!

I can hear you saying,

"But Jenny has it together."

Come on!

Nobody is one hundred percent perfect,

I know;

Jenny cleans her carpets every day,

Jenny always comes her hair perfectly,

Jenny never looks big in anything.

Have you ever thought that Jenny might also

have days when she feels less than perfect?

You're not superwoman;

You are doing your best, but you have to love yourself

sometimes.

Yes, I agree;

People are always talking about you,

Even your mum isn't happy unless you do things her way.

You've heard it all before,

Step back for a second;

Maybe you are trying to hard,

Pushing yourself overboard to meet everyone else's demands instead

of accepting yourself as you are.

Yep!

You did your make-up a million times over this morning,

And you tried that outfit on whilst looking in the mirror,

Over, and over again, then you threw a fit and threw it in

the bin.

Why do you think you need to be like everyone else?

They tell you that you are pretty just as you are,

And that you are well loved;

But you don't believe them, do you?

You need to go now;

But, I'm asking you to stay with us for a while,

Steve can go to the shop himself,

He is a big boy now!

Nope!

You must do it now, despite having your own

errands to take care of;

You can't keep pleasing everyone

One day;

You might wake up and see that you need yourself

in this world, more than anybody else needs

you.
