A Woman's Love

Through Four Seasons

By AmourrroPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

The babbling brook continues to babble

As do the leaves on the nearing trees

and the blades of grass aside the streams

The sound of an erhu cries out in the distance

Through summer, spring, fall and winter

The woman whom plays her instrument with passion

Comes back here time and time again

Through summer, spring, fall and winter

The erhu cries out into the wind

Comforted by the four seasons

On the 3rd spring the erhu's voice finally lays rest

As the woman has found another to hold tightly

The babbling brook continues to babble

As do the leaves on the nearing trees

and the blades of grass aside the streams

surreal poetry
