If only I had known...

A Wish

I dream of you

More than when you were lost

Your baby-sister will be two

As your life becomes glossed

They see your trials as a low-cost

For you lived, for a time, free

If only my heart could defrost

I remember each silent plea

You must have wanted to flee

But instead we kept you trapped

With the doctors we’d agree

Your soul kept

While you wept

Shaking with fear

Eyes look at me so clear

The lose of you, I couldn’t accept
