A way in the wilderness

Rushing down the spiral way,

Flowing down, there to stay,

Through the jagged terrain to splash,

Where the earth and rock would clash!

Upon the break of the sun light,

Where seeds of hope become sprouts in sight,

The droplets of the stormy rain,

Through sweat and toil and pain!

In the desolate place, the barren plain,

Where it could drive a man insane!

Such rivers flow and revive in part,

It then renews the hardened heart.

Such weeks to pass with longer days,

For through the times of prolonged delays,

A miracle forms for eyes to see upon the wilderness ways!
