The sun sets low, a crimson sky

As night descends, the stars arise

And in my heart, I feel a sigh

The day is done, the world can lie

And dream of things that may surprise

The sun sets low, a crimson sky

The moon appears, a gentle high

And shadows dance before my eyes

And in my heart, I feel a sigh

The breeze picks up, the trees reply

And leaves rustle like a sweet reprise

The sun sets low, a crimson sky

The night is young, the hours fly

And dreams take hold, and fears subside

And in my heart, I feel a sigh

The dawn will come, the night will die

But for now let's cherish the guise

The sun sets low, a crimson sky

And in my heart, I feel a sigh
