Rules of a triolet: take the first line and repeat it in the 4th & 7th lines;take the 2nd line and repeat it in the last line(8th), the 3rd rhymes with the 1st, the 5th rhymes with the 1st, 6th rhymes with 2nd
Withstand on poems of ashes and sand
Feel your fate meet the wind
And listen ear to hand
Withstand on poems of ashes and sand
Take each step like a thoughtful “and”
Wasted time is one cannot mend
Withstand on poems of ashes and sand
Feel your fate meet the wind
You should give it a go. I'll find more forms to try. Peace!
