A trillion dollars for an empty heart

I would trade all the wealth to keep you here

You’re gone from this world

And he just became a trillionaire

Billions of billions and it means nothing

You’re not here

It’s not right

He can buy anything in the world

He can crown himself king

But he is an empty husk without a soul

Behind his eyes, there’s nothing

You, a tiny soul, no awareness of wealth

Had all the value he will never have

It’s a damn shame the wealthy live longer than cats
