a tourist in one’s hometown

tattoo-worthy

I'm a tourist in my hometown

it feels foreign

strange wind blows against my cheeks

bronze dwarfs sparkle in the afternoon sun

I walk freely

like a kite

my heart is open

my temper is short

it snaps branches

of park trees

the city is chaotic

ambulances flash

chestnuts bloom

red city lights

illuminate my path

this life continues

past–ashtray, dust board

there’s no end
