Welcome to earth
It’s pretty ghetto here but,
we still show love
The two-legged, flesh covered souls you see are called humans
They are responsible for this thick, cloudy,
polluted element called air in which you are breathing
There are feathered ones called birds
They are the symbol of freedom
Some are four legged
They can either be companions, or food, or both depending on who you’re asking
The greens, yellows and other canvas worthy colors sprouting from the ground are flowers
The big ones are trees
We can’t live without them
Like the yellow, burning, power source in the sky called sun
And it’s fraternal twin, a bright, white night light called moon
Maybe one day you’ll get that powerful,
tingly sensation in your chest that you can’t make sense of
That’s called love
We can’t live without that either
