A lonely angel, her halo aflame
With a spectrum unlike earthly pigment
Lines and shapes adorn her, forget her name
Your world of colors and hue, is a figment
She sees only shadows, full of wonder
Grace, and respite, it’s calling out to her,
Drawing her closer, pulling her under
Torment, elation, are the same to her
A mighty pen in hand she fights the fight
Blinding beauty shines, breaking her threshold
Painting rainbows, drenched all in black and white
The spark of imagination takes hold
A devil clad in blinding light, she seeks
To see the darkness, she wants just a peek
