A Spiritual PaintingOf Death

A poem, a spiritual painting,

Where lost animals go to die

Not with cries that tear the night,

But with silence, still and dry.

In the corners of the canvas,

Eyes that once held flames now dim,

Whispers of forgotten cries,

Echo soft like a fading hymn.

Their paws do not tread on earth,

Their wings do not brush the air,

They are spirits, untethered,

Bound by the weight of despair.

Each stroke, a thread of sorrow,

Each hue, a mournful sigh,

Where broken creatures find their place,

And shadows learn to die.

In the quiet, they are scattered,

Like dust upon the wind,

Never to be remembered,

Never to be pinned.

A poem, a spiritual painting,

Where the lost do not return.

They live on in the stillness,

Where forgotten fires burn.
