A Sonnet of Lovely Things
I feel love, just another poem of the times
I feel love , by E Lloyd Kelly (the-poet)
This is “love” that I’m feeling.
Hey. You there, fix your face.
Drop that frown and put on a smile in its place.
You are taking things way too personally — Grace.
It’s true, it’s not about you.
This is about us, all of us.
The man doesn’t hate you.
Get that notion out of your head — boo.
Get such things out of your mind.
This is love at its finest that one may ever find.
Love for you, love for himself, love for me.
Love for all of us as a family.
Love for a people. People like these.
Well, excuse me please.
