A Social Media Poem

The sunset where I "get back at last."

Online I go when I shop,

I run around and text so fast!

My rides ready to go and I drop,

Quick run, got stuff done, get back at last!

I look down the datastream hitting like,

So fast around the town!

I pedal, heave and ride my bike,

So far around, up and down!

Once I get there I chat messily,

Ones become numbers and tomorrow becomes 2moro!

Well not necessarily,

Sometimes autocorrect brings me sorrow!

On social media I do what I absolutely do not do,

On internet game chat boxes!

Where I let out steam if you knew,

On social media I talk to my friends and foxes!

Whilst I'm shopping for my food,

Or small items that I may need!

Anything I buy could be or expensive or good,

But whatever I get has a purpose to feed!

About the Creator

Sarah Parish

I believe in symbiosis, and that there is a singular dominant God of the universe,

Also, the love poems are dedicated to my husband, and the rest are dedicated to my family!
